I'm Still Here ...
Been a tad frustrating as everytime I go to update my blog or visit other peoples it flips out ... so I get ratty and go do something else ... mind due through this frustration I managed to get half the lawns done yesterday morning - so it has a positive side to it ...
Been busy and tired at the same time ... done heaps but cant remember half of it.
Trying to get on the ferry sites at the moment ... that has been a pain in the backside too. All I want to find out is if I can go over on the ferry by foot and bring back a dog ... The interislander customer service does not open until 11am - whats with that? And the other Bluewhatevertheyarecalled are getting back to me. How hard can this be?
Flying the dog or taking the ute over is expensive, so I am looking for a cheaper option ... even though I get seasick ... however I will put up with six hours of vomitting if it saves money.

wondered why you had been so quiet......hope you get an answer soon about ya ferry trip. Who is the dog for?
I;m sure they will let you...esp if you wear really dark glasses and put the dog in a harness with a red jacket LOL.
perhaps there are booking difficulties because of the interislander strike

Blueridge got back to me ... I dont have to do the ferry thing at all if I prefer to stay on this side ... all I have to do is walk on the boat at this end and get the dog.
Janine the dog is for me. Another Curly Coated Retriever. The litter has just been born and the breeder is waiting and watching to see if any of them are what I am after. I trust them to pick the pup ... that is how much respect I have for these people. They have had Gun Dog champions all through their lines.
However, they may find that none of them have the type of attitude I want, so they will say so if that is so ...
So there are a few weeks to suss this out.
.. also Max is from their breeding stock ... his great grandfather back ... so hopefully some of his brains have come from that side ... well I am actually sure of it. Reading the profile of Falcon (father of this particular litter) it sounds like Max all over!
I wish payday would hurry up so I can pay off this camera - im getting so frustrated!
