I have lit a candle for our Dad - he would have been 64 today if he was still looking over his glasses, hitting golf balls, watching rugby and eating cold mince pies!
I am 42 ... yes definitely! Live on one of my mothers properties. I also work as a Team Leader at the Whakatane Aquatic Centre. Have two dogs, a Curly Coated Retriever and an English Springer Spaniel. Also a ginger cat - JesseJames, who runs the whole household - oh yeah and then there's Rocky the roster ...

Thinking of you all today Andrea.....
Happy Birthday. Still his birthday.
Far too young wasn't he. Thinking of you.
Thinking of you Andrea (and Delys) Memories are wonderful things but stillnot the same as having the person there with you huh!
Tell me about it Dianna - all of his side of the family have died young. Its shocking. My aunt Steph is the only one left and she must be wondering ...
Too young. My Dad's birthday is the day after your Dad's - he just turned 69. On Dad's birthday we were talking about how many people don't reach their 70s - his Dad didn't either. Too sad.
Well it seems our lot on Dads side have trouble getting past 60 or 65. On Mum side the leave well into their 80's and 90's.
